    Rare 4-Digit Ainsworth-Inspected U.S. Colt Single Action Revolver. Serial no. 5467, .45 caliber, 7 1/2-inch uncrowned barrel with italicized Hartford address. Bottom of barrel stamped: "P" and "A". Round ejector rod button. Cylinder and triggerguard stamped "A". Re-nickeled finish. Period replacement ivory grips etched with floral scrolls and the Mexican eagle and snake motif on left side with floral scrolls and buffalo hunting scene on right side.

    Condition: Good as reconfigured and refinished. Retaining approximately 85-95% of a re-nickeled finish with scattered wear, flaking and scratches overall. U.S. markings removed from frame. Grips are period replacements. Action needs minor adjustment.
