    Lot of Two Engraved Pocket Revolvers. Comprising: 1) Engraved Manhattan First Model First Variation Pocket Revolver. Serial no. 7604, .22 caliber rimfire. 3-inch fluted octagonal barrel with German silver sight. Silver-plated finish. Spur trigger. Walnut grips. Manufactured 1860-61. Total manufactured, approximately 17,000. 2) Engraved Colt Open-Top 7-shot Pocket Revolver. Serial no. 8112, .22 caliber rimfire. 2 1/2-inch barrel with correct address. Scroll-engraved. Nickel-plated. Spur trigger. Varnished walnut bird's head grips [see Flayderman, 5B-162]. Condition: 1) Very good to fine as partially refinished. Retaining approximately 40-50% of an old refinish, now mixed with grey patina. Patches of fine pitting visible under portions of finish. Grips with repairs and light wear. Action good. 2) Very good to fine. Retaining approximately 70-80% finish with small areas of pitting on cylinder and barrel lug. Grips with wear and minor marks. Action good.
