    Engraved Colt Single Action Army Revolver.
    Serial no. 85666, .45 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with single line Hartford address. Profuse floral and scroll-engraving. Rocker-engraved borders. 3-line, 3-date patent. Carved Steer head mother-of-pearl grips. Manufactured 1883. Property from the Estate of John R. Eckel, Sr.

    Condition: Very good as custom engraved. Finish is now a mostly smooth gray-brown patina. Scattered fine pitting on frame and cylinder. Grips are excellent and slightly proud to the frame. Bore with moderate pitting. Action good but slightly sticky.
