Engraved Colt Single Action Army Revolver with Carved Pearl Grips.
Serial no. 107186, .45 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel with 2-line Hartford address. Nickel-plated finish. Fine scroll and floral-engraving to barrel, cylinder and frame. Sunburst on loading gate Fine mother-of-pearl grips, the right panel carved with eagle and serpent motif. Manufactured 1884. Sold together with a copy of the Colt factory letter which confirms caliber and barrel length and indicates a nickel finish with 1884 ship date to Hartley & Graham. Letter also states: "Type of Stocks: Rubber." The factory letter does not indicate that this gun left the factory as an engraved gun.

Condition: Fine as refinished. Retaining approximately 92-96% of an older re-done nickel finish. Engraving edges have slightly softened. Grips are excellent with lustrous colors and fine detail to carving but slightly proud to frame. Bright bore with light wear and scattered light pitting. Action is crisp.
