Serial no. 107186, .45 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel with 2-line Hartford address. Nickel-plated finish. Fine scroll and floral-engraving to barrel, cylinder and frame. Sunburst on loading gate Fine mother-of-pearl grips, the right panel carved with eagle and serpent motif. Manufactured 1884. Sold together with a copy of the Colt factory letter which confirms caliber and barrel length and indicates a nickel finish with 1884 ship date to Hartley & Graham. The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
