    Description

    Engraved Colt Model 1860 Army Percussion Revolver. Serial no. 94950, .44 caliber, 8-inch barrel with New York address. All matching serial numbers on barrel lug, frame, triggerguard and butt. Each also marked IE denoting that this gun was intended to have ivory grips and be engraved. Extensive scroll and vine engraving on barrel, frame, hammer and gripstraps. Nickel-plated finish with gold wash on triggerguard. Fine checkered ivory grips. Condition: Very good as refinished. Retaining most of an old re-nickel with some losses at muzzle and cylinder. Replacement screws at wedge and frame. Triggerguard appears to have been replated. Grips are fine with light age wear and mellow patina. Very good bore. Action crisp.
