    Description

    Colt Single Action Revolver.
    Serial no. 336974, .45 caliber, 4 ¾-inch barrel with 2-line Hartford address. Blued and case-hardened finish. 2-line, 3-date patent marks. Checkered hard rubber factory grips with Rampant Colt in ovals. Manufactured 1917.

    Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 35-40% original finish primarily on barrel and ejector rod housing which are beginning to fade. Some losses at muzzle. Cylinder now a smooth gray patina with traces of blue in the flutes. Case colors have faded but still show generous traces. Spotting to sides of hammer. Grip frame is a smooth gray patina. Grips excellent. Action extremely smooth. Very light trigger pull. Bore bright with scattered light pitting.
