    Colt Single Action Revolver with Gunbelt and Factory Letter. Serial no. 154482, .45 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel. Two-line Hartford address. Blue and case-hardened finish. Two-line patent date. Three notches at the backstrap. Checkered hard rubber grips which also have three notches. Inside of grip panels are marked 4482/MOCK/4/9/33. Sold together with unmarked period black leather rig. Leather belt is 2 1/2-inches wide with roller buckle, approximately size 30-32. Mexican loop holster hand-tooled with basket weave pattern. Accompanying the lot is a Colt factory letter confirming current configuration with an 1893 ship date to Simmons Hardware Company in St. Louis.
    Condition: Revolver is good to very good retaining approximately 10% finish primarily in protected areas. The balance a brown-gray patina with scattered fine pitting. Traces of silvered case colors on hammer. Grips are very good to fine with moderate, even wear to checkering. Bore is good with moderate pitting. Action very good and locks up tight. Leather is fair to good with moderate wear and dryness throughout. Holster with seam separations at the toe.
