    Colt Single Action Revolver With Bridgeport Ensemble.
    Serial no. 39645, .45 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with single-line Hartford address. Donut ejector rod tip. Nickel-plated finish. Left side of frame with 3-line, 3-date patent mark. Also on left side of frame is 3/4-inch long stud for Bridgeport belt. One-piece walnut grips. Manufactured 1877. Sold together with 39-inch long tooled leather cartridge belt (24 sewn loops) with clipped corner buckle and Bridgeport catch. Nickel-plated device is marked: ??????PORT / ??????D JAN 17 1882. Property from the Estate of John R. Eckel, Sr.

    Condition: Good to very good. Retaining approximately 10-15% original nickel finish primarily in protected areas. The balance is a smooth gray-brown patina. Patches of fine pitting to front of cylinder. Grips are fine with light age wear and soiling. Action tight. Bridgeport belt rig is about good. Leather is soft but light crackling throughout. Old repair and rebroken crease to leather at end of Bridgeport plate. Losses to five cartridge loops. Buckle leather shows old repair and change of location.
