    Description

    Colt Single Action Army Revolver. Serial no. 101427 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .45 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel with front fixed blade sight, two-line Hartford address and roll stamped: .45 COLT. Nickel-plated finish. Three-line, three date patent. Triggerbow marked .45 CAL. Mother-of-pearl grips. Manufactured in 1883. From the estate of Houston collector Brent Burg.
    Condition: Very good as refinished. Retaining approximately 85-90% of finish with scattered wear. Light pitting to frame. Noticeable flaking to cylinder. Wear to left grip panel, chip where panel meets the frame and back corner. Very noticeable chip to right grip panel at back corner. Action crisp. Bore is good with moderate pitting.
