    Description

    Colt Single Action Army Revolver. Serial no. 5635 [frame] and 31743 [triggerguard and butt, .45 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel with front blade sight and one-line Hartford address. Blued finish. Frame with two-line two-date patent and marked: U.S. Smooth wood grips. Manufactured in 1874. From the estate of Houston collector Brent Burg. Condition: Good. Finish worn to a grayish patina with scattered wear and pitting. Tracking line to cylinder. Grips showing scuffs and scratches. Noticeable wood loss to bottom corner of left grip panel. Action is good, little tight. Bore is fair with moderate pitting.
