    Description

    Colt Single Action Army Revolver. Serial no. 134947 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .45 caliber, 5-1/2-inch barrel with one-line Hartford address. Blued finish. Three-line, three-date patent. Checkered black hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1890. From the estate of Houston collector Brent Burg. Condition: Fair. Retaining approximately 10-15% original nickel finish with the balance a bare metal with staining and spotting. Scattered patches of fine pitting. Grip panels with heavy wear. Right panel with mother-of-pearl inlays covering a crack. Action is tight but will not lock at half-cock. Bore is good, with light wear and pitting.
