    Description

    Colt Single Action Army Revolver. Serial no. 287293 [frame and triggerguard] and 317151 [butt], .45 caliber, 4-3/4-inch barrel with two-line Hartford address. Nickel finish. Two-line, three-date patent. Mother-of-pearl grips, with nicely carved figure of a longhorn head with red eyes on right grip panel. Manufactured in 1906. From the estate of Houston collector Brent Burg. Condition: Good as configured and possibly refinished. Retaining approximately 85-90% finish with high point edge wear. Polishing marks observed on frame. Tracking line on cylinder. Grips very good, with dings at the corners. Action needs adjustment. Bore is good, light wear and pitting.
