    Colt Single Action Army Revolver Inscribed to Judge Norman Van Horn.
    Serial no. 89919, .44-40 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with one-line Hartford address. Nickel-plated finish. Backstrap inscribed: JUDGE NORMAN VAN HORN. Lanyard swivel present. Antique two-piece, cream-colored grips. Manufactured 1883. Sold together with a copy of the Colt factory letter confirming current configuration except grips. Letter also confirms ship date to Hartley & Graham.

    Condition: Good to very good. Retaining approximately 25-35% of an old re-nickel, the balance a mostly smooth, gray patina with scattered patches of fine pitting. Tool marks on cylinder pin and frame screws. Grips fine with normal and attractive aging. Chip to right toe. Main spring a likely replacement. Action crisp.
