    Description

    Colt Second Model 1851 Navy Percussion Revolver.
    Serial no. 3529, .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with New York address. All visible serial numbers match including rammer. Top wedge screw makes this a rare second model manufactured Brass frame with square back trigger-guard. Walnut grips. Less than 3,000 of the second model were produced. 3529 was manufactured in 1851.

    Condition: Fair to good. All steel surfaces with heavy age patina and scattered light pitting and staining. Scant traces of cylinder scene. Nipples showing corrosion and one with losses. Wedge does not remove easily. Grips very good with scattered dents. Small loss to toe on left grip panel. Action very good.
