    Colt Model 1862 Police Percussion Revolver. Serial no. 5027 [mostly worn away from butt], .36 caliber, 4 1/2-inch barrel with single-line New York address. 5-shot cathedral fluted cylinder. Case-hardened hammer, lever and frame. Left side of frame marked: Colt's/ Patent. Brass triggerguard and gripstrap assembly. One-piece varnished walnut grips [see Flayderman 5B-105]. Condition: Fair. Metal cleaned and showing a grey patina. Some screws missing or marred. Grips showing wear to varnish and scattered dents and blemishes. Action good.
