    Colt Model 1860 Army Single Action Revolver with Factory Letter.
    Serial no. 20139 [barrel, frame, triggerguard, butt and cylinder], .44 caliber, 8-inch barrel with fixed front blade sight. Single line barrel address. Brass triggerguard. Smooth walnut grip panels. Manufactured in 1861. Sold along with factory letter confirming specifications listed and shipped to United States War Department, Lt. Col. G.D. Ramsey, Washington Arsenal.

    Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey age patina with scattered wear and pitting present. Barrel wedge loose. minor scuffs and dings to grips. Action tight.
