    Colt Model 1851 Navy Single Action Revolver.

    Serial no. 83376 [barrel, frame, triggerguard, cylinder and butt], .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight. Nickel-plated over blued finish. Gold-washed cylinder, hammer and lever. Etched cylinder scene. COLT'S / PATENT to left side of frame. 2 stamped to left side of frame, L and M to left side of triggerguard. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Lanyard ring. Manufactured in 1857.

    Condition: Very good as cleaned. Finish primarily a bright grey patina with scattered handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Noticeable scuffs and dings present to wood. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
