    Colt Frontier Six Shooter Single Action Revolver.
    Serial no. 68836 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .44 centerfire caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Nickel-plated finish. Top of barrel marked: COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG CO HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. Left side of barrel etched: COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER. Three-line, three-date patent to left side of frame. Triggerbow stamped: .44 CF. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Manufactured in 1881.

    Condition: Fine to excellent. Retaining approximately 70-80% finish with noticeable thinning to gripstraps, scattered handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Tracking line to cylinder. Scuffs and dings present to wood, with some loss at corners. Action crisp. Strong bore.
