    Colt Bisley Model Single Action Revolver.

    Serial no. 227691 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .32 W.C.F. caliber, [replaced] 5 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued finish. Patent dates and Rampant Colt to left side of frame. Checkered factory hard rubber grip panels. Manufactured in 1902. Sold with copy of Colt Factory letter confirming configuration [with the exception of the barrel which appears to have been replaced]; .32/20 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel [current barrel is 5 1/2-inches], blue, shipped to Colt's Patent Fire Arms Mfg. Company, San Francisco Agency, SF, Calif. on June 7, 1902. Guns in shipment, 6.

    Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Smooth checkering present to grips. Action crisp. Replacement barrel. Lightly pitted bore. Property from the James R. Glascock Collection.
