    Description

    Colt 1860 Army Conversion Single Action Revolver. Serial no. 195490, .44 caliber, 7 7/16-inch barrel with single-line New York address. Richards type ejector rod housing. Replaced ejector rod spring. Crescent type ejector rod button. Rebated cylinder with rare narrow Navy type conversion band [see The Book of Colt Firearms, page 222, by Sutherland & Wilson]. No loading gate present. Steel backstrap. Brass triggerguard. Varnished walnut grips. Condition: Fair to good as configured. Barrel appears to have been altered, stretched and polished. Screws have been marred. Metal showing a grey age patina with scattered light pitting. Grips are good with light wear and marks overall. Action very good.
