    Civilian Remington New Model Army Percussion Single Action Revolver. Serial no. 125578, .44 caliber, 8-inch octagonal barrel with post type front sight and address reading: PATENTED SEPT. SEPT/ 14, 1858/REMINGTON & SONS. ILION NEW YORK U.S.A./NEW MODEL. H, D & R inspector stamps. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer. Brass triggerguard. Oil-finished walnut grips. Oil-finished walnut grips with no cartouches. Condition: Excellent. Retaining approximately 90-95% finish with scattered patches of wear, primarily on the cylinder and edges on barrel. Some vibrant traces of case-hardening remain on hammer. Light tracking line on cylinder. Grips excellent.
