    Cased Colt Ulysses S. Grant Commemorative 1851 Navy Percussion Revolver. Serial no. 2048USG, .36 percussion caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel. Blued, case-hardened and silver-plated finishes. Varnished hardwood grips. Contained in original Colt hardwood case with as issued flask, mold, tools and cap tin. Blue velvet lining. Interior and exterior of lid marked: Ulysses S. Grant Commemorative/Nineteen Seventy One/[Rampant Colt]. Condition: Excellent. Very minor handling wear. Interior of case with storage marks. Current Blue Book value for 100% example is $795. Issue price was $250. 4,500 produced.
