    Description

    Cased Colt Model 1861 Navy Percussion Revolver. Serial no. 26216, .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with single-line New York address. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer, lever and frame. Brass triggerguard and gripstrap assembly. Varnished walnut grips. Contained in original Colt burgundy velvet-lined partitioned walnut case together with Colt flags and cannon flask, two-cavity Colt's Patent bullet mold, UMC orange lid cap tin and ball supply.
    Condition: Good as refinished. Metal showing grey-brown age patina with traces of older reblue present in protected areas. Triggerguard and gripstrap assembly of polished brass. Grips with wear and bruises. Action very good. Case very good with minor repairs to partitions and wear, fading to lining. Powder flask with age wear, minor dents and patina. Bullet mold with age wear and pitting.
