    Cased & Engraved E.M. Reilly & Co. Tranter Single Action Revolver.
    Serial no. 29 [frame under grips and base of barrel], .230 Eley caliber, 2 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued barrel and cylinder. Elaborately scroll engraved, nickel-plated brass frame and grip cap. Case-hardened checkered hammer. Top of barrel marked: E.M. REILLY & CO. LONDON. Left side of frame marked: TRANTER'S / PATENT / 1223. British proofs to barrel and cylinder. Spur trigger. Smooth walnut grip panels. Contained in contemporary wooden display case with green felt lining and tool.

    Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 50-60% bluing and 70-80% silver plating. Overall showing signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Minor dings to grips. Action crisp. Lightly pitted bore. Normal age and storage wear to display case.
