    Cased & Engraved Colt Single Action Army Revolver.
    Serial no. 285655 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .38 W.C.F. caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Nickel-plated finish. Custom early scroll engraved barrel, cylinder, frame and backstrap. Carved steer-head grip panels. Contained in wooden display case with black felt lining and COLT SINGLE ACTION plaque.

    Condition: Good. Retaining some finish in flutes of cylinder, the balance a smooth grey patina with scattered light handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Minor scratches to grips. Action good. Moderately pitted bore. Normal storage and age wear to case.
