    *Wells-Fargo Marked Colt Single Action Revolver. Serial no. 305373, .45 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel with single line Hartford address. Two-line patent date. Bottom of gripstrap marked: W.F.& Co. Rampant Colt hard rubber factory grips with. Each grip panel marked 1104 on inside. Manufactured 1908. Sold together with lined, commercial, unmarked, brown leather Mexican loop holster, test target and Colt key ring screwdriver. Contained in associated contemporary red lacquered wood box
    Condition: Fair as configured. Front of barrel with screw threads from old lamp conversion. Barrel and cylinder with traces of old re-blued finish mostly in protected areas. Balance a smooth, gray patina with scattered patches of fine pitting. Triggerguard and gripstrap assembly a later replacement. Signs of having been cleaned. Grips faded. Action crisp and tight.
