    U.S. Remington Rand Model 1911 A1 Semi-Automatic Pistol.
    Serial no. 1497123, .45 caliber, 5-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Parkerized finish. British proofs to top of barrel, slide and frame. Right side of frame marked: UNITED STATES PROPERTY M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY. Checkered hard rubber grips. Lanyard ring. Colt .45 auto eight round magazine.

    Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 85-90% finish with thinning to relief edges, scattered handling wear and fine pitting. Grips showing minor scuffs and dings. Action crisp. Strong bore.
