    U.S. Colt Model 1911A1 Semi-Automatic Pistol with Remington Rand Slide Possibly Lend Lease. Serial no. 929901, .45 ACP caliber, 5-inch barrel. Phosphate finish. Right side of frame has both ordnance stamp and [crown]/R stamp. Triggerguard with VP proof and factory inspector's numbers. G.H.D. on left side of frame. Slide is marked: REMINGTON RAND INC./SYRACUSE, N.Y. U.S.A. Checkered walnut grips. Blued magazine with P on the base front. Manufactured 1943.

    Condition: Very good to fine. Retaining approximately 85-90% light gray parkerized finish. Frame slightly darker than slide. Both with light handling wear. Hammer and thumb safety are possible replacements. Magazine is good with scattered scratches and fine patches of pitting. Grips are excellent with very slight flattening. Bore is fine with scattered very light pitting.
