    U.S. Colt Model 1911 Semi-Automatic Pistol. Serial no. 107909, .45 caliber, 5-inch barrel with blued finish. Left side of frame marked: United States Property. Right side of slide marked: Model of 1911 U.S. Army. Frame with lanyard ring. Checkered walnut diamond walnut grips. Two-tone magazine. Condition: Fair to good. Retaining traces of blue, the balance a mottled blue-brown patina. One grip screw a likely replacement. Bore fair to good with moderate wear. Manufactured 1915.
