    U.S. Colt Model 1911 Army Semi-Automatic Pistol.

    Serial no. 10070, .45 caliber, 5-inch barrel with fixed front sights. Blued finish. Right side of slide marked: MODEL OF 1911 U.S. ARMY. Left side of frame marked: UNITED STATES PROPERTY. Checkered Pachmayr rubber grip panels. Lanyard ring. Grip safety. Contained in U.S. marked leather holster.

    Condition: Very good as refinished. Retaining approximately 92-94% finish with a few thin spots, handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs and scratches present to grips. Action good. Strong bore. Honest age and storage wear to leather.
