    Unit Marked German Erfurt Model P08 1913 Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster. Serial no. 1699, 9mm, 4-inch barrel with dovetailed sight and numbered on bottom [markings high-lighted in white]. Chamber marked: 1913. Straw finished take down lever, wide trigger and safety. Safety stamped: GESICHERT. Right side of slide with proofs. Blued finish. Lanyard loop with no shoulder stock lug. Single mis-matched wood base magazine. Front of gripstrap marked: 2.L.S.K.PR.24.2. Checkered walnut grips. Contained in brown leather holster, the front marked: SCHNEIDER/BRIEGL. Inside flap inscribed: PFENNINGER HEINR/HUM 44 BO1 [?]. Reverse of holster inscribed: Pfenninger Hch. Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 92--94% finish with minor pitting near muzzle, wear to straw finished elements, and some relief edges. Grips very good with light wear. Mechanically crisp. Bright bore. Holster good with wear and heavy scuffs and perforations to flap. From the Collection of Douglas Smith, offered without consignor reserve.
