Description
Scarce Boxed Colt Pre-Woodsman Target Semi-Automatic Pistol.Serial no. 53201 [frontstrap], .22 long rifle, 6 5/8-inch barrel. Blued finish with checkered walnut grips. Partridge front sight and adjustable rear sight. Left side of slide marked COLT AUTOMATIC / CAL. 22 LONG RIFLE [Rampant Colt logo]. Correct 10 round two-tone magazine marked CAL. 22 / COLT. Contained in original Colt box with label reading TARGET / COLT AUTOMATIC PISTOL .22 / LONG RIFLE. Along with original box, included are the Special Instructions manual, the Colt Automatic Pistol red cover manual discussing specifications, method of operation, component parts among others and the T10 test fire bullseye paper with serial number. Manufactured in 1927.
Condition: Fine to excellent, approximately 92-95% bluing with fine scratches and handling wear to frontstrap, gripstrap and barrel near muzzle. Light wear to edges and some checkering of grips. Action good. Bore excellent.
