Description
Rare French Marked DWM Model P08 Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol. Serial no. 47492, 9mm, 4-inch barrel marked: Manufacture Francaise d'Armes & Cycles de St. Etienne with dovetailed sight, numbered and "bug" proofed on bottom. Unmarked chamber. Straw finished take down lever, wide trigger and safety. Safety stamped: GESICHERT. Left side of slide with crown over B and U proofs. Blued finish. Lanyard loop and no shoulder stock lug. Grip safety. Forward bottom of grip marked: 9532. Unmarked wood base magazine. Checkered walnut grips. Condition: Excellent. Retaining approximately 98-99% finish with slight wear to straw colored elements and some relief edges. Grip strap shows two light marks. Grips very good with light wear. Left grip with minor dent. Left side of magazine slightly chipped. Mechanically crisp. Bright bore. From the Collection of Douglas Smith, offered without consignor reserve.Auction Info
