    Portuguese Model P08 1942 byf Code Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster.
    Serial no. 5115 m, 9mm, 4-inch barrel with dovetailed front sight. Blued action and barrel. Blued trigger, takedown latch and safety. Knurled toggle marked: byf. Chamber marked: 42.. Wide trigger. Extractor marked: GELADEN. Frame marked: P.08. Checkered composition grips. Two unserialized blued magazines with aluminum bases. Brown leather holster with cleaning rod and combination tool. Note: The last 5000 byf 42 pistols were sold to Portugal when the P38 became standard issue. Condition: Excellent. Frame, barrel and toggle shows 98% bluing with wear to edges. Excellent bore. Excellent grips. Holster in fine condition with a few marks to the leather and broken stitching on the magazine compartment. From the Collection of Douglas Smith, offered without consignor reserve.
