    Description

    Mauser 42 Code P08 Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol.
    Serial no. 3009 [all matching], 9mm caliber, 4-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish. Breech dated 1940. German proofs to right side of frame and barrel. Checkered walnut grip panels. Lanyard ring. Aluminum based magazine with illegible number. Contained in 1939 dated leather holster.

    Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 80-85% finish with noticeable thinning to grip straps, handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Scuffs and dings present to grips. Action good. Strong bore. Leather showing signs of discoloring, scuffs and cracking.
