    London Proofed Colt Model 1902 Semi-Automatic Pistol.

    Serial no. 37598, .38 caliber, 6-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and trigger. Top of barrel marked: WILLIAM EVANS 63 PALL MALL LONDON S.W. (crown) / V proof to left side of slide and frame, near trigger. (crown) / G and (crown) / V proof to right side of barrel. Checkered hard rubber grip panels with embossed Colt logos. Lanyard ring. Manufactured in 1915.

    Condition: Good. Retaining traces of finish, the balance a dark grey patina with noticeable signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuff to right grip panel just above screw. Action good. Strong bore.
