Description

Hungarian Roth Steyr Model 1907 Semi-Automatic Pistol. Serial no. 17442, 8mm, 5 1/4-inch barrel with standard fixed sights. Blued finish. Top of barrel stamped: FEGYVERGYR BUDAPEST. Grooved wood grips panels with medallion on right panel marked: 10.J.B. / 29. Lanyard ring. Pistol was adopted by the Austro-Hungarian cavalry in 1907 and used by Austrians in World War I. It was one of the earliest successful semi-automatic pistols.

Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 80-85% finish with thinning to relief edges, handling wear and scattered fine pitting. Grips showing minor scuffs and dings. Noticeable wood loss to lower left of right grip panel. Action good. Bright bore.
