Description

    German Model P-08 Artillery Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol and Matching Holster. Serial no. 891, 9mm caliber, 8-inch barrel with fixed front and tangent rear sights. Blued finish, small parts strawed. All visible numbers matching including wooden-base magazine. Marked 1916 on top of the receiver and DWM on the toggle. Numerous Imperial German proofmarks on the right side of the receiver. Checkered walnut grip panels. This example with a small brass disk marked A32 attached to the lanyard ring. Brown leather military holster with 891 stamped on the reverse, complete with carrying straps and cleaning tool, lacking loading tool.
    Condition: Excellent as refinished. Retaining approximately 80-90% reblued finish, the remainder worn thin on the high spots. Modest wear to grips. Crisp action. Bright bore with very fine pitting present. Holster scuffed and worn but in otherwise very good condition. Shoulder strap is not original to holster.
