German Mauser Model 1896 Broomhandle Big Red 9 Semi-Automatic Pistol. Serial no. 80890, 9mm, 5 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front and adjustable rear sight. Blued finish. Left side features a (crown)/U proof, right side with a (crown)/M proof. Grooved walnut Red 9 broomhandle grips.Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 40-50% finish with noticeable loss to barrel and gripstraps. Scattered wear and fine pitting. Grips showing scuffs, dings and minor chip to top of left grip panel. Action good. Strong bore.
