    German Mauser K Date Model P08 S42 Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster. Serial no. 551, 9mm, 4-inch barrel with dovetailed sight and numbered on bottom. Chamber marked: K. Straw finished take down lever, wide trigger and safety. Safety stamped: GESICHERT. Left side of slide serialized. Right side of slide with proofs. Blued finish. Lanyard loop and shoulder stock lug. Single aluminum base magazine with matching numbers. Checkered walnut grips. Contained in black leather holster, the front with waffenampt and marked: LEDERWERKE/KARL ACKVAAG/BAD KREUZNACH/1934. Last variation before G dates. According to accompanying notes, K dates represent the first contract purchase by the Wehrmacht. Made in 1934. Cleaning rod and tool present. Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 92-94% finish with wear to straw colored elements, some relief edges and gripstrap. Tool marks to triggerguard.. Grips very good as configured with light wear and some bruising. Mechanically crisp. Bright bore. Holster good with wear, split to magazine pouch and minor scuffs and checks.
