    German DWM Model P08 Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster. Serial no. 5081/o, 9mm, 4-inch barrel with dovetailed sight and numbered on bottom. Unmarked chamber. Straw finished take down lever, wide trigger and safety. Safety stamped: GESICHERT. Left side of slide with crown over N proof. Right side of slide unmarked. Blued finish. Lanyard loop and shoulder stock lug. One aluminum magazine with matching numbers and one wood base magazine with matching numbers. Checkered walnut grips. Contained in black leather holster with tool, the reverse marked: 5081 [matching gun]/S.D.VII.23. Outer flap marked: S.B.S.S.I.2.29. Inside flap marked: D./1918/79. Reverse with personalized painted inscription: "John Prebe". Condition: Fine to excellent as configured and refinished. Wear to gripstrap.. Retaining approximately 94-98% finish with wear to straw colored elements and some relief edges. Grips excellent with light wear. Mechanically crisp. Bright bore. Holster very good with alterations, wear, and minor scuffs. From the Collection of Douglas Smith, offered without consignor reserve.
