    German cyq Model P.38 Semi-Automatic Pistol.
    Serial no. 5986 [barrel, slide and frame], 9mm caliber, 5-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish. Various German proof marks. Frontstrap marked: H-13-29-1a in white ink. Contained in unmarked brown leather holster. Provenance: National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Sold to benefit the Museum's collections and acquisitions.

    Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 60-70% finish, with noticeable thinning to relief edges, signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Grip panels absent. Action good. Some cracking and discoloration to leather.
