German BYF "Ku Luft" Contract P.08 Luger Semi-Automatic
Pistol.Serial no. 1795 [all matching], 9mm caliber, 4-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish. KU stamped to right side of frame. Breech marked: 41. Checkered hard rubber grip panels. Lanyard ring. This is one of the approximately 5,000 that were produced with the "Ku" suffix. See pages 302 thru 305, Lugers at Random by Charles Kenyon, Jr for similar examples and key notes.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 90-92% finish with some thinning to relief edges, handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Action crisp. Strong bore.
