    German 42 Code Luger Dated 1940 Semi-Automatic Pistol with Leather Holster.
    Serial no. 1088 [all matching], 9mm caliber, 4-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish. Checkered walnut grip panels. Lanyard ring. Aluminum based magazine numbered: 7959. Contained in German P.08 leather holster. Provenance: National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Sold to benefit the Museum's collections and acquisitions.

    Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 80-85% finish with thinning to relief edges, scattered handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Noticeable scuffs to grips. Action crisp. Strong bore. Normal age and storage wear to leather.
