Description
German 1936 Krieghoff Luftwaffe Proofed P08 Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol. Serial no. 5723, 9mm caliber, 4-inch barrel with standard sights. Pre-war quality blued finish, smaller parts strawed. Later style serial number with full serial number on the front frame, left receiver, barrel and last two digits on the inside of most parts. Coarse checkered brown plastic grips. Toggle stamped with H K KRIEGHOFF SUHL with anchor logo, top of chamber dated 1936. Blued, extruded magazine with aluminum base and not numbered to pistol. Luftwaffe proofs on the right side of the receiver.Condition: Excellent. Retaining approximately 99% rich blue pre-war finish with trivial wear elsewhere. Crisp action. Bright bore.
