Description
DWM Model 1920 Commercial Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol. DWM Model 1920 Commercial Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol.Serial no. 498 (small parts and rear of toggle matching), 7.65 caliber, 3 7/8-inch barrel. Blued finish with stock lug. Barrel, toggle links and left side of receiver marked with [crown]/N proof marks. Straw colored take down lever, wide trigger and safety marked: GESICHERT on bottom position. Left side of frame marked: GERMANY. (DWM sold 1920 Commercials to England, America and all of Europe.) Checkered walnut grips. Unmarked wood based magazine.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 40-50% original blue finish. The balance a thin gray-blue patina with scattered fine pitting. Grips very good with age wear and light soiling. Magazine with minor losses to wood and pitting to the metal. Action crisp. Bore good with scattered fine pitting.
