Description
Crown City Arms 1911 Semi-Automatic Pistol.Serial no. A01468 [right side of frame], .45 caliber, 5-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish. Left side of slide marked: CROWN CITY ARMS / .45 CALIBER AUTOMATIC. Right side of frame stamped: CROWN CITY ARMS / CORTLAND N.Y. Case-hardened hammer. Grooved adjustable trigger. Checkered walnut grip panels. Grip safety.
Crown City Arms was a firearms manufacturer that produced 1911-style pistols and parts during the 1970s and 1980s.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 85-90% finish with thinning to relief edges and top of barrel. Light handling wear and very fine patches of pitting. Action crisp. Strong bore. From the Collection of James Schubert.
