    Colt Woodsman 1st Series Match Target Semi-Automatic Pistol. Serial no. MT6401, .22 caliber, 6 5/8-inch barrel with target sights. Blued finish. Fancy, checkered walnut grips. Magazine base marked: COLT WOODSMAN/CAL.22 L.R./MATCH TARGET MOD. Contained in non-Colt pasteboard box. Sold together with three original manuals and envelope of three internal parts, likely from a high velocity ammunition conversion. Manufactured 1939. Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 85-90% original finish with patches of pitting on slide and gripstrap. Left side of barrel with scattered fine pitting. Left side of slide with patch where blue is absent. Grips appear to be fancy custom-style. Grip screw absent.. Action functions. Strong bore in need of cleaning.
