    Colt Model 1911 A1 U.S. Army Semi-Automatic Pistol.
    Serial no. 1100700, .45 caliber, 5-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish. Checkered hard rubber grip panels. Grip safety. Lanyard ring. Manufactured in 1943. Contained in unmarked leather holster.

    Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 92-94% finish with thinning to relief edges, handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Minor scuffs to grips, trivial white number to left panel. Action good. Strong bore. Normal storage and age wear to leather. Strap for snap closure torn from holster.
